World Economic outlook - Indonesia inflation rate November 2011 ; Indonesia's inflation rate continued to slow in November, with the consumer price index up 4.15% from a year earlier, while Thailand's CPI matched its October rate of 4.19% as the country's worst floods in decades pushed up prices.
Indonesia's November rate, reported Thursday by the official Central Statistics Agency, represented a slowdown from October's 4.42%, September's 4.61% and August's 4.79%, due to a high base of comparison.
From a month earlier, Indonesia's index was up 0.34% in November, pushed by rising costs for basic food items and gold, after a drop of 0.12% from September to October.
The median forecast of 11 regional economists polled by Dow Jones Newswires was for an annual rate 4.20%, and the median forecast of the nine who provided a prediction on the monthly rate was 0.33%.
