World Economic outlook - Namibia economic growth forecast 2012 ; Namibia's economy is expected to grow by 4.2 percent in 2012, helped by increased uranium output and investments in construction and mining, the south-west African nation's central bank said on Friday. The bank expected economic growth of 3.8 percent this year.
"Growth will be broad-based owing mostly to increased uranium output, investment in the construction and mining industry and in the manufacturing sector," the bank's deputy governor Paul Hartmann said.
