World Economic outlook World Economic Forum in Davos Switzerland 25-29 January 2012 : The eurozone debt crisis is expected to dominate discussions when government leaders and businessmen meet at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland next week.
Experts say China, in particular, could also play an increasingly important role at such international forums. Discussions at forum will likely include how to keep the eurozone intact and financial support to keep Greece solvent.
Greece is facing a renewed threat of defaulting on its debts, with a 14.5 billion-euro repayment due on 20 March, and no funds to cover it. Other themes that could come up at the forum include the rise of social activism, the sustainability of growth in the US, and leadership transition in North Korea.
